Rose Street’s original local
HISTORY, HEART AND LIVE MUSIC, NIGHT AFTER NIGHT
A Rose Street local with stories to tell, The Auld Hundred is one of the street’s oldest pubs, beginning life as a mission hall before becoming a pub in the 1800s, with its history etched into every snug corner and well-worn beam.
Nestled in Edinburgh’s New Town just minutes from Princes Street, Queen Street Gardens and Waverley Station, it is perfectly placed for slipping away from the bustle into somewhere warm, relaxed and full of character. Inside, friendly faces, low-lit cosiness and live music seven nights a week – from local acts to a lively Sunday open mic – create an easy-going, intimate atmosphere that keeps regulars and visitors lingering long into the night.
